    Use the accepted standard (usb-pd)?

No, one usb-c to usb-a cable with a propriety connector in the middle and a proprietary fast-charging system like it’s 2015, please!

To be fair, their system works incredibly well without heating the batteries up much, despite 80W and higher charging. Was one of the things I was skeptical about when buying a phone recently, but I was pleasantly surprised.

You don’t actually have to carry a separate cable for the watch, just the cradle that you plug into your phone charging cable. And I never charge them at the same time because I wear the watch at night for sleep tracking. Nifty idea, though.
