I like using Brita, but having to buy non-sustainable single-use filters is a serious buzzkill. Yet, since I rent, I can’t install one of those fancy tap-level filters either…

I mean, the rules are always a bit different for islands.
Well, they did get them to switch to USB-C, so I’m not holding my breath, but I do hope that this will lead to more interoperability. I’m tired of Apple making Android/non-Apple users feel like second-class citizens.
I haven’t - thanks for the tip! I’ve mostly been running Kubuntu vanilla, aside from changing some DNS configs.
Oh, that sounds great, thank you! I just got Stray recently and they do something like this as well - put hints that are kind of immersive with the atmosphere, so it’s helpful while not being too intrusive.
Thank you, I’ll take a look at those!
I’m actually not a huge combat person, I like RPGs and exploratory games. But I’m not big on platformers or side-scrollers. I suck at puzzles, so tend to not gravitate towards those types of games unless the story is compelling (I loved Portal, for example, but had to look up walkthroughs after a certain point). The narrative element of it does appeal, I like cyberpunk/dystopian stuff.
Huh, is this the parkour game? I remember seeing it on Steam, but it didn’t seem like something I’d be into.
As a noob who is only moderately tech savvy, how can I get started with selfhosting? Is it worth just buying a Pi to mess around with at first?
Neat, I will have to check that out! I’m guessing you can’t enable it on locked down work devices, however.
You have your Pihole setup at work?
Technically, but I have no plumbing skills and don’t exactly want to drop $100+ for a sink-type filter that requires a lot more space than I have, anyway.
