Yep that is a problem too, the focus in creating general ai is really slowing down ai research on making it better at specific stuff.
Making it a master of social situations and emotional responses is getting in the way of the ai being good at intelligence and logic for example.
We need more specialized ai research instead of so much fake general intelligence
It probably needs a secondary “brain lobe” that is responsible for figuring out what the user wants and adjusting the nodes accordingly…abd said lobe needs to have long term memory…but then the problem of THAT is how it will make the ai a lot slower and it can glitch hard.

I know I am anthropormizing it too much but the fact the current design cant even increase this super basic creativity without messing itself up in the process is a massive problem in the design, the ai cant seem to understand when to be “creative” and when not to, when to attempt to solve a probme through recalling data abd when not to showing its far less aware than a person is to a very basic level
The better an ai is at logic the less creative it often becomes, the more creative an ai gets the worse it gets at accurately recalling knowledge and the better an ai gets at knowledge the more it flounders at thinking critically and logically instead of just lazily reciting its knowledge perfectly back at you.
Until ai researches find a way to solve this rock-paper-scissors of constant self sabotage ai cant advance to the next phase.

I was in that problem too but you can at least occationally tell it to “change the code further” and it can work.
Often YOU have to try and fix its code though its far from perfect…

If you ask the llm for code it will often give you a buggy code but if you run it get an error annd then tell the ai what error you had it will often fix the error so that is cool.

Imo to make an ai that is truly good at everything we need to have multiple ai all designed to do something different all working together (like the human brain works) instead of making every single ai a personality-less sludge of jack of all trades master of none
Imo our current version of ai are too generalized, we add so much information into the ai to make them good at everything it all mixes together into a single grey halucinating slop that the ai ends up being good at nothing.
We need to find ways to specialize ai and give said ai a more consistent and concrete personality to move forward.
Like I said before, the only thing ai could provide me for me to consider it remotely useful is a time machine…and that is not fucking happening
