TIL a human chimpanzee hybrid was possibly created in 1967

been researching genetics and noticed humans and chimps are much nearer chromosomewise than many species that successfully breed hybrids so, even tho ive always heard humans cant hybrid with any nonhumans, i looked in to it and found this interesting thing.

I read a news story a while ago about a shaved orangutan police rescued from a brothel in… I think it was Indonesia?

If people are paying to fuck a shaved orangutan then people have definitely voluntarily fucked chimps.
