There’s hope for China. The US might artificially prop up fossil fuels even once uneconomical at this point.

I mean, it’s why they’re all doing alcoholism and skin-melting drugs.
Do they? The old ones are usually magnetically triggered and I assume current ones have a CPU onboard interpreting multiple sensors.
But at least they’ve stopped the gays!
Oh wait.
I mean, maybe you didn’t mean to, but using that phrase about his actions definitely amounts to it.
Thanks.
It’s an interesting approach, and avoids a lot of the funny philosophical questions that comes out of banning just a certain technology.
You definitely don’t read every article that crosses your feed either.
I just wanted to know this one thing.
So is there a fair use exemption for satire?
I mean, would it? Or would they just continue with a massive vulnerability that eventually blows up somehow.
IIRC they still tried to put the cat back in the bag.
I mean, yes and no. There’s stupid criminals and smarter ones. The general conclusion holds if backdoors stop teenagers from selling weed, but are then used by Russian hackers to conduct high-profile blackmail, though.
And then you get the near-certainty of some government using privileged access to do evil, as well.
All remotely from within their own country, right?
I mean, there is that too, lol. I just have better things to do than start a totally subjective art argument.
Also to that point, they’ve already fixed it. Which might be why they didn’t worry about protecting it that much in the first place.
Yes, but that headline would get less clicks.
The museum is mad that they left after that, but honestly I’d be pretty terrified going up to them and mentioning that I’d fallen into a priceless artifact and broken it. In theory, they didn’t put up glass, and as professionals knew that means there’s a risk accidents could happen. In practice, maybe they’re short on funds and whatever bureaucrat sees suing me as a way out.
We don’t hate outsiders, it’s just those dirty outsiders that do! /s
I mean, sure, there’s a grain of truth here. Arabs, and Muslims more generally, tend to be suspicious of Jews because of the history around the establishment of Israel (the relationship was way better than Christians-Jews before that). It doesn’t make this not ironic.
I wouldn’t say baseless. It sounds like it might be untrue, though, and that this is an old rule.
If it’s established precedent like OP said, then yes. Germany is still a strong liberal democracy with rules that mean something.
You know for a fact they would feel more awkward about that one, though. They’re still very sorry.
Incredibly based.
Stealing boats should not be considered a crime against humanity.
FOSS is nice in that it’s not going to turn around and do something malicious. Pirated proprietary software both can and has a stronger-than-usual motive to.
Ah yes, the old Scunthorp problem.
