They also suggest organizations deploy additional security layers beyond Windows Defender, particularly solutions that can monitor behavior at the kernel level.
Anything like this for the typical home user?
Is this thing on?

You’re right. I don’t use it and only suggested it because so many here do. So, the question is do you have a better suggestion or are you content to just bitch?
You think the only options online are carrier pigeon or giant data gathering corporation? Seriously, maybe sit down and go through this community’s posts for guidance on how to communicate without using data sponges.
Edit: literally less than a dozen posts earlier note, of all in that list peertube is probably the most relevant and that is simply video formats. You CAN communicate in forms other than video, like say in a substack blog.

They said, on youtube…
What’s the internet regulation like in Canada
What’s Canada’s stance on green and renewables
Is Canada pro-regulation?
We are a nation of ~40 million people, speaking two official languages, spread out amongst 10 provinces and 3 territories, encompassing the 2nd largest land area behind russia. We have 4 ‘recognized’ parties (Conservatives, Liberals, New Democrats, and Bloc Quebecois) and the Greens are an up and coming party that have members in the House. We are too diverse to say ‘we are all pro anything (except maybe Hockey)’. That said, we are a Social Democracy so regulate far more than the US despite (perhaps in spite of) their economic influence.
Something you didn’t ask about but I think you’d likely be interested in is our Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Oh snap I completely forgot about that. Well, I’ll hold the behaviour of our historical leaders up against the EU’s any day. TBF they’ve had far longer to put stupid shit on record than we have ofc.
Treatment of the indigenous people
That’s fair, and IMO should be the deal breaker. (edit: how unreasonable of me)

We’re a junior partner and net recipient. Our judiciary flat out prevents most of our participation, and we’d likely leave it to join,

That thing that originated in Europe? Or the American version that isn’t us?
(re?)electing a crack smoker.
He might have been re-elected as a Ward councillor, but I don’t think it is fair to hold an entire nation responsible for 1 city’s stupidity. A nation that for the most part considered them a laughing-stock.
Regardless, I’m not actually in favour of joining the EU directly but fully support bolstering our alliances.
lol wut? This is the first anti-Canadian comment I’ve ever heard. Canadians are unreasonable? “I do not know much about them, but in my self-admittedly ignorant opinion I think they are an unreasonable people”. Wouldn’t that make us fit right in if everyone in EU was like you?
lmao. I’m going to be laughing about your comment for the rest of the day. Thank you.
The radioactive nickel decays into stable copper and has a half life of 100 years. Not really ‘waste’
I think the sex scene was done very well. The things you can pull off nowadays with CGI is just crazy.
Also, I will not be surprised if they audaciously disable Win 10 Home edition for security purposes once end of life is reached.
Wow, who could have predicted this enshittification coming?

You also don’t need youtube to publish it. I’m glad this entire conversation happened because it revealed just how ignorant and inconsiderate this community is regarding respecting other member’s privacy.
The issue isn’t the message. It is using a data gathering corporation to send it out and even using it here. It’s hypocritical to what I thought this community was for. If OP had used an Invidious or Peertube link it wouldn’t have been a problem. Do you not understand that by clicking on the link you could be flagged as ‘worthy of stricter scrutiny’, or a premium put on your specific data exactly because they now know you’re trying to hide it?
