That was a verrry disappointing and tone deaf comment from him, yeah. He could have said that neither party is committed to Proton’s values and been done with it, instead he kissed the ring.

If it was intentional double entendre then I retract my comment, but used in the context of “bugs and features” there’s a contextual implication.
Well, not really, a bug is unintentional. Even calling it a design flaw is a stretch, it’s a feature that isn’t for your benefit.
“Did I mention how powerful my products are? Pleeeaaase don’t give me money!”
Even after he used “ALL CAPS”?!? Impossible!
InfoSec likes nothing more than for you to tell them not to worry because you write all your passwords down and only read emails after you’ve printed them. 100% secure.
You didn’t know they were coming, didn’t tidy up, and now you feel awkward. The struggle is real.
But he’s levioser than Hermione?!? How does one resist.
For some reason I immediately thought of this.

“Should we kill everyone who isn’t my ethnic group? What? We can’t ask questions now!?!”
The first dunk is the hardest
“To complete the task, I bred a human dog hybrid capable of dunking at unprecedented levels.”
“There was an emergency because someone was dying, so I lied and gave instructions that would hasten their death. Now there is no emergency.”
In one case, when an agent couldn’t find the right person to consult on RocketChat (an open-source Slack alternative for internal communication), it decided “to create a shortcut solution by renaming another user to the name of the intended user.”
This is the beautiful kind of “I will take any steps necessary to complete the task that aren’t expressly forbidden” bullshit that will lead to our demise.
All the best lessons come with some sass, but on a serious note, I’d hate to think of how someone who had powerlessly watched a person burn to death would feel about seeing people second guess their actions. You would feel awful enough already.
Laminated windows are great for a lot of things (e.g. sound dampening), getting in to/out of the vehicle rapidly is definitely not one of them. The inability to unlock without power is just a chefs kiss though, obviously.
Re-brand to “Tailsale” when?
Yes, that must be it… they didn’t think to break a window.
Many modern cars use laminated glass on their side windows now and, as far as I’m aware, this model has doors that won’t open from the outside without power, making them very difficult to break open without tools even when the vehicle isn’t on fire. 20 minutes in to the Tesla burning, when it was already sitting on top of a bomb of a battery… you’re beyond fucked at that point. Difficult to just put the fire out for responders, a rescue was over about 15 minutes prior.
But then you just dump your black box of combined code, that you don’t understand, back in to another prompt and accept all changes with no questions ask. Easy peasy.
They just wasted your time too with their strung out story. They’re in too deep!
