Because I don’t watch random videos, I watch people I’m subscribed to and they don’t exist on other platforms. I would love to switch, really. The very fact I’m on Lemmy tells you that I’m open to doing that kind of thing.
Out of interest, what personal interests would the other candidate have been against? I’m genuinely interested and I’d rather ask you than just downvote like others have done that probably have no idea about either candidate.
Too be fair, this can also be said of teachers. It’s important to recognise that AI’s are as accurate as any single source and should always check everything yourself. I have concerns over a future where our only available sources are through AI.
Actually it’s taking me quite a lot of effort and learning to setup AI’s that I run locally as I don’t trust them (any of them) with my data. If anything, it’s got me interested in learning again.
I imagine it’s because they’re bolted down quite well
I want all the databtheybe collected this way deleted. I want them to compensate each and every one of us that has had our data stolen. They need to ensure that this is the same for all of the marketing companies that have bought this data from us.
I’ll have to use the camera phone again then.
Switched from Ariel to Persil recently for the same reasons. Persil is a German brand marketed by Unilever in the UK. Unilever being a UK based company. It all helps.
Be aware that the companies would have paid Facebook handsomely to identify users in this way. The world we live in has a sickness with greed for money at its heart.
They’re going to need to shrink it down, that’s way too big.
Thanks, I’ll check Proton out as I’ve seen it mentioned quite a lot. Just found out I’m going to be a dad at 47 so I’ve been a bit distracted!
I’ve had a paid mail service before and then life happened and I couldn’t afford it and lost my main email address. This is going back probably 20 years or more.
I’m not sure I want to pay for my email but then I’m not sure what the alternative might be.
I’m open to suggestions!
Then it’s not engagement. We have to stop this nonsense.
Also, we need laws making bots that pretend to be real users illegal. We’re heading for some black mirror shit otherwise.
I’ve got my first son or daughter on the way, I’m thinking they might be learning Linux as their first OS
Is the bridge made of steel?
Have the rights groups ever urged anything other than human rights? Seems a bit redundant. In other news commerce groups urge prioritisation of trade, education groups urge a focus on schools and peace groups urge a reduction in military spending.
