Yeah but traditional nuclear power can be with much less waste which has a much shorter half life if we recycle the waste, is my point. Less than 100 years instead of thousands. But the recycling process which dates from the 70’s is banned because the process also provides a tiny bit of enriched uranium.
So I’m not against traditional nuclear power, I think we can do much better if we recycle, plus Thorium reactors are a good addition.

We need to store the waste for thousands of years. This is bad. We are able to recycle the waste for more power but we’re not allowed to because it produces a tiny bit enriched uranium and that’s not allowed by the pact the US and Russia made. But recycling waste is tech from the 70’s and it can reduce the half life of 100.000 years to 100 years.
Thorium however, is a different story. It doesn’t work with gamma radiation but with alpha radiation. Alpha radiation is the most dangerous form of radiation, but it doesn’t go far and doesn’t go through many things. You can contain it with a piece of paper. Gamma radiation is the least harmful form of radiation but the big issue is it goes really far and goes through almost anything.
So waste from a Thorium reactor is much less harmful, easy to contain, also has a very short half life (I don’t know how long but it’s really short, as in several years) so Thorium really is awesome. Thorium is also a waste product of many other mining operations so it’s already a form of recycling. The downside of a Thorium reactor is that it’s far more complex than the reactors we know so it’s very hard and expensive to build, more than a regular reactor. So it will cost a lot, takes a long time, but it’s an extremily safe and wise investment.

Fines are so the ultra rich and mega corps have more freedom than others. Rules do not apply to them, they pay for it which is far less than their profits. Fines do not hurt them, it allows them to make more money than smaller competition.

Als er minder jonge mensen zijn wordt het voor oudere mensen duurder. Als het helemaal verboden was geweest, was het ook geen fetisjisme geworden. Het zijn explosieven, veel ook illegaal geïmporteerd uit België of Duitsland. Door de hoeveelheid knallen vallen de illegale dingen niet zo op. Als het helemaal verboden was geweest valt het enorm op.
We kunnen het toe gaan staan waardoor het aantal ongelukken toeneemt, wat zwaardere belasting op de zorg is, waardoor de zorg kosten stijgen, of we kunnen het helemaal verbieden en 1x per jaar laten afsteken door getrainde mensen op een veilige manier.
Vuurwapens zijn ook geen probleem, dat mensen daar ongelukken mee hebben. Dat is omdat ze helemaal verboden zijn. In de VS zijn ze niet verboden, daar krijgen kinderen een kogelvrije plaat voor in hun schooltas cadeau.
Het is te bezopen voor woorden dat elke gek, ongeacht leeftijd, met in China geproduceerde explosieven mag klooien. De enige veiligheidsmaatregel is de boodschap “doe je wel voorzichtig?”
De pyrotechnische opleiding om met vuurwerk om te mogen gaan voor evenementen is een zware opleiding vanwege het hoge risico met het werken met explosief materiaal. Maar in Nederland is een 14 jarig jochie die telkens “wajoooo” roept in staat 't zelfde te doen. En dan zeg jij dat het komt omdat het de rest van het jaar verboden is.
Misschien komt het omdat het juist 1x per jaar niet verboden is. Want hoe komen kinderen aan explosieven als ze niet in de winkel worden verkocht? Wellicht van pappa die ze alsnog uit Duitsland haalt, maar hoeveel vaders doen dat? Er zullen altijd wel enkele gevallen zijn bij een compleet verbod maar dat zullen dan enkel uitzonderingen zijn.
Ja lekker, gaan de zorgverzekering kosten nog verder omhoog.

Or do they mean that Meta, X and Google are producing cigarettes like tobacco companies are doing right now, like with filters or that they are putting warning labels on their products? Because I haven’t seen any warning labels or Google cigarettes.
The title is very confusing.
Although I do think Google, X and Meta should have at least 75% of their banner state their platforms are brainrot and spreads misinformation. You know, like modern day tobacco companies have to warn for the risks of using their junk.
