The link to the raw data is dead, and it contradicts some other research, and also is an article on something that is called"green car reports". Those are indications of maybe not the most unbiased data

Distro isn’t important, for a novice user the defference, basically, is what software is in the official repository, and how easy it is to google shit. Unless you chose something very obscure somehow, you’ll be fine.
That’s my point, I don’t believe blogposts paint the whole picture.
I call bullshit. They might say they’re opt-in, I bet they have some way to use the personal data that technically doesn’t violate very specific wording of the rule.
And a bunch of people didn’t but we don’t talk about them, it was the norm back then.
That you know of
Shit like that needs to be stopped while it’s just someone’s wild wet dreams. When it will become solid plans with budget and deadlines, it will already be too late
Framework’s whole model is to accommodate for exceptions.
Some people have dead laptops with fried motherboards or dead batteries, or cracked screens, that are absolutely unrepairable but have memory and alive ssds. I know I do.
More powerful i5 with 32GM RAM and a bunch of expansion cards amounted to about 1200€. A bit more than similarly specked 15-17 laptops, but preliminary I couldn’t find anything with this speks in this formfactor, so I couldn’t compare properly.
The company are designers and engineers, not factory workers, they don’t have staff in Taiwan, they put their orders there. Unless they move all the people, thry can’t really move that easily.
Oh, that’s easy to check, if the code is barely functional nonsensical pile of shit, then it was autogenerated.
Or Canadian. Since they have quite a passionate investor there already
You can instantly tell that this whole shit was concocted by an idiot who has zero connection to reality, because Portugal doesn’t have the same percentage as any other Balkan country.
deregulating
Nope. Nope-nopety-nope, leave this american bullshit where it belongs.
I clicked one once by accident when trying to select it. You can be as diligent as you want you still will slip up from time to time
That’s the whole point, when you do useless shit like buying from one corpo instead of another, they only need to buy couple of politicians to succeed. The only way for you to combat it is to elect politicians they can’t buy and apply political pressure to the rest of them, so they can’t buy them all. If instead of that you play their game and try to outbuy a corpo that owns half of your country already, not only you will lose every time, you are actually what doing exactly they want you to do.
“No ethical consumption under capitalism” is about this, not anything else.
Voting with the wallet is mostly bullshit, it’s a myth corpos are telling people so we regulate them less. They have so much power to inject themselves into human’s lives, make themselves part of your existence. You can for example try to walletvote Microsoft out of your life whatever the fuck you want, while you were trying it, they bought a politician or twelve, and now they’re part of your government, your education system, your military, and your finance sector.
While democracy still exists, the only way to fight corpos is the governmental power or regulations.
Companies that do anti-consumer practices shouldn’t think it’s the norm. The more we fuck Apple, the less other companies think that it’s OK to fuck consumers.
The thing we learned is “correlation doesn’t necessarily imply causation”.
