Great. The new CEO is a clown who has no idea what he’s doing. When can we get Pat Gelsinger back?

Please do it, especially red and formerly purple states. It’s the only way back. They need to realize what happens when you’re an idiot.
I like foldables, but I won’t be getting another one until Samsung and other OEMs dramatically overhaul their design and durability. When a ribbon connector went bad, they required repair companies to replace the two screens and hinge, a $600 repair on a phone worth $400. The ribbon connector is a 20¢ component, if that. I ended up getting a Motorola on sale for $250 that can do most of what high end flagships can do.
The other thing that’s kinda cool is that you get to see a bunch of people who normally are kinda invisible, but make up a considerable part of your city and life. It’s incredibly fun to see people from all walks of life and backgrounds all having fun together. It makes us all stronger and more unified. It reminds me that we absolutely can do anything when we all work together as a team. Also, about 60% of the crowd there is probably running your city’s IT infrastructure ;)
It’s like car valet, but they take your bike and store it in a secure location and hand you a slip of paper with a number on it. A person or two guards the secure location. Usually they are pop-ups at major bike junctions for things like university games, major sporting events, big festivals, bike-focused events and ribbon cutting events.
However, cities like Vancouver BC have seasonal ones that run all summer in shopping areas like Granville Island. They essentially prevent bike theft entirely.
Our city is fairly dense, so unfortunately there’s no room to build extra parking or even new roads. We have been forced to get creative, but the benefit is that a lot more people are using bikes and rail now that the city core has bike lanes that can get you just about anywhere. The latest development is that women and children are starting to bike in our city, which is a promising sign for safety (North American city).
Our city is still struggling to marry up mass transit with last mile transit such as bikes, ebikes and other PEVs. The buses and trains are starting to get bike racks that can accommodate modern bikes, but it’s still difficult to find bike lockers or bike valet services downtown, and it’s still too easy to get your bike nicked.
Just do what we do here, and have like, six parking spots at a beach, and ticket anyone who parks illegally. It encourages bike and bus use :)
Are there better alternatives? I was planning on using tailscale until now. :P
I like Leaf razors. Less expensive than Harry’s after you buy the handles, and there’s no plastic packaging anywhere. And the refills are cheap (and were even cheaper) until Trump screwed up the economy. It can take any single edge razors, it’s not proprietary.
There’s three blade and single blade variants for your face or body. Both work great. (Just a heads up, you don’t have to tighten the shit out of the screw on the back of the razor)

This is a 2024 moto g stylus 5G.
I’m on a Motorola, I don’t think it’s flashable…
Honestly, I kinda like it. I don’t think my phone will get 16, though. I’ll probably get android 18 or whatever is out then.
That feels a little on the nose…
Break up Russia.
I had the Samsung version shit itself. 20 cent ribbon connector blew, Samsung refused to replace it, and instead wanted to replace BOTH screens and the hinge for $600. I threw it in the landfill and bought a $250 Motorola. Idiotic, anti-R2R companies.
That’s why ebikes are considered better than analog bikes by some metrics. Outside of electrified trains, there’s pretty much nothing as efficient as an ebike for distance /calories burned + electricity usage (minimal, compared to EVs)
This is why I started ebiking. I’m usually going up steep hills, or hauling groceries or other stuff. Having an ebike totally changed the math on whether I need to actually drive or not.
You guys gotta be more like America on the bike lanes one.
Just have crippling, insane traffic, where it takes you three hours to move five (5) city blocks (this has actually happened to me).
Suddenly, a new bike lane gets you across the city in 26 minutes.
It made the bike lanes very popular, haha.
The entire plane has to be redesigned from the ground up, that’s what he’s explaining. The F-35s are caked in sensors like a valve index. They have special paints and materials that absorb radar, making the radar profile look more like a bird than aircraft-sized hunk of metal, which is useful against Russian and Iranian anti air SAMs, the same ones taking down Ukrainian jets. But that also includes the body shape, the engine intakes (even engine blade materials), everything.
Can the Europeans create an F-35 class platform? Absolutely. But you can’t just retrofit your way out of a brand new generation of plane. It’s like trying to retrofit a Ford F-350 super duty to conform to Japanese Kei truck regulations and weight classes. You end up redesigning the whole thing.
This app seems like a privacy nightmare if you create profiles for people. I can guarantee you this type of app is going to get people to commit suicide after rumors abound about them. This seems perfect for cyberbullying and stalking, especially if you can get push notifications whenever they are nearby.
Who greenlit this shit? People would lose their minds if there was a male equivalent for women. (Which is also a terrible idea). Thank God I’m too old and queer, Jesus. What a terrible development for society.
