You can get this to 1x1 and it’ll look okay if your launcher allows you to ignore widget sizes (e.g. Lawnchair)

Worse. Office.com now takes me to m365.cloud.microsoft which as of today now takes me to a fucking Copilot chat window. Ofc no way to disable it because gee why would anyone want to do that?
I believe it’s built into the Google app by default
com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
Max? Sorry what’s Max?
When will we learn to stop using television stars for economic policy? That’s how we got in this mess
Oh man, I remember when this was the new one
Roku is headquartered in California. If we’re prioritizing user friendliness over location (nothing wrong with this!) I’d go with a Google TV box or something like the Google streamer. Since it’s Android based you can (with a little bit of a workaround) change the launcher and ditch the ads. With Roku you’re stuck with whatever they give you; and they just “accidentally” tested ads on startup before you even see the home screen.
This morning my COMM professor declared she saw it with her kids and it was a masterpiece, despite not having played Minecraft and “not caring that much for Jack Black”
Edit: since this post I’ve gone and seen the movie with some friends. While it’s not gonna be an award winner for their acting, it was still a really fun movie to watch.
I’m glad I saw it in theaters. There was a handful of older kids (like 15 ish) in the back having an absolute blast and the vibe was electric. The movie got a good laugh out of us a number of times. I saw it mentioned that Jack Black was “phoning it in” but I thought he did an amazing job. I went into this movie fully expecting to watch a shit show but was pleasantly surprised. Overall I’d absolutely recommend anyone to go and see it while it’s still in theaters
Seeing people say “GrapheneOS fixes this!” “It’s only on old versions of Android!”
This is on a Pixel 8 Pro with the latest version of GrapheneOS. This is an issue and has been for a long time. Many apps detect root by looking for the Magisk package using this method, and many collect this information just for advertising (go ahead, export your Snapchat data)
Giving them your genetic data was fine, but your birthday was too much?
No, The OneNote UWP app is going away (“OneNote for Windows 10”), OneNote itself is still a part of office & still maintained
There’s a new version (fork?) of filebrowser dubbed “quantum” if that’s your thing https://github.com/gtsteffaniak/filebrowser
