Once had a discussion with some coworkers that legit didn’t know the original cut had no Jabba. They were so certain that they actually almost had me convinced for a moment.

Wait…that thing shoots lasers?? I thought it was like, a boomerang or something.
What a bizarre list of things to get hung up on that have no consequence. Speech doesn’t have to be precisely literal at every moment. Loosen up a bit, mate.
The technical term was created to promote the misunderstanding that LLMs “think”. The “experts” want people to think LLMs are far more advanced than they actually are. You can add as many tokens to your context as you want - every model is still, fundamentally, a text generator. Humanizing it more than that is naive or deceptive, depending on how much money you have riding on the bubble.
Leapfrogged? It never left. LLMs were made to make shit up.
Except it’s not libel. It’s a one time string of text generated exclusively for him. Literally no one would have known what it said if the guy didn’t get the exact thing he wants “deleted” published online for everyone to see. Now it’ll be linked to his name forever, but the llm didn’t do that.
It looks to me like they just copied the original with some boring, “safe” additions, most likely with zero understanding of what makes the OG great. They did the same thing with Lion King.
“All of them? All of them. All of them is good.”
Don’t worry. You’ll hate the next one too. Nothing will live up to your standards because they’re absurd and what you really want is someone to blame for your frustrations of not being able to be as happy as you remember being at 10 years old watching Star wars for the first time, which no one can live up to.
I adore this movie. It’s unabashedly weird and fun, and a fantastic satire of superhero tropes at the time.
My only significant hangup with it is the look of cultural appropriation through the Blue Rajah, but it stands just on the right side of acceptable imo thanks to a well fleshed out character and Hank Azaria’s great performance.
If you haven’t seen it, check it out.
Don’t name them or anything. That might be helpful.
