Thanks! I wasn’t even aware of them. I’ll check them out. Too bad they are ending though.
The day they ask me to scan my face is the day I stop logging in to discord.
That is interesting. I was not aware of that.
Maybe they saw somewhere that people use it to format text and assumed that has something to do with programming.
So, I would need 3 different s3 buckets? One for each system?
If that’s the case, I might go the raspberry pi in a relatives house route.
Thanks! I guess what I read before was either old or just wrong.
The last I looked was that the Pixel was the only phone that allowed you to load a custom rom and relock the bootloader. Other phones kept the bootloader unlocked once it was modded.
So, graphene could be put on those phones if the devs wanted to do it, but it would be less secure since the bootloader would remain unlocked.
Also, supporting a small line a phones is probably infinitely easier than a range, of devices, but it would be nice to have another option. Especially now that the Fairphone pice is reasonable.
I think ip laws are important but need to be changed. One example are things that are funded by tax dollars. They can’t own the ip of something we funded even if partially funded. Maybe let them hold the ip until they recoup their cost.
I also think that it is OK for companies to have ip, but it needs to be shorter. Like, they get 10 years or they earn 10x their cost on developing it.
Im not saying my exact ideas are perfect, but just an example of how ip should not last for as long as it does.
I know I can do the web for basics stuff, but I need the apps to make payment with qr-codes.
Although, maybe the banks website could word reasonably well in a browser. But, the mobile wallet apps would be a problem I bet.
I agree, Android phones will not have a chance at being successful unless it has a translation layer to run Android apps.
I know things like that exist, but I don’t think it’s anywhere close to having a high compatibility.
I wish you luck on this. I also would like to learn more about this, but it’s not a priority for me. I just got a cheap vps and will use that for testing 😂
Well I don’t teach art so… and they don’t even know
It’s a good use for me. I work with children and the things I’ve “created” have been significantly better thanks to mid-journey.
Before that it was just generic clip art, now I can make really beautifully themed stuff that was both out of my skill range and price range.
The artists, would never get money from me since I’m not rich enough to afford it but the children benefit.
I had to enroll users in teams. Doing so was confusing and 1 user would never get the invite. I ended up ditching it after about a month.
It’s online corps offload computers but there will be a delay and many will just have the extended windows 10 supports. So I’d give it another year.
As someone starting a small business, it has helped tremendously. I use a lot of image generation.
If that didn’t exist, I’d either has to use crappy looking clip art or pay a designer which I literally can’t afford.
Now my projects actually look good. It makes my first projects look like a highschooler did them last minute.
There are many other uses, but I rely on it daily. My business can exist without it, but the quality of my product is significantly better and the cost to create it is much lower.
Hopefully it can just run off wall power while at home. It would suck to change in the middle of each night.
If you wanna take photos off the iPhone, then you can plug that in select the photos in the photos app, and then use the option to export them to files, and then just select the flash drive as the destination.
