While true, 568m is a significant cost of doing business. Also remember that a punitive action should not make the company go bankrupt, it should make them rethink.
And if they don’t, the fines will go higher, until they do rethink.

Steam is equally shitty, they just have the advantage of not being publicly traded which means they can create long term strategies and execute them successfully.
Doesn’t mean they’re pro consumer.
I’ll take pessimist takes on technology over calling everything porn any day.
Good luck! I did the same recently. I wrote my own blog system, though. I can share it with you, but I’m not sure it’s the best for anyone else, there were some shortcuts taken given I did not intend to share it.
You can check out my blog and let me know whether you want to try it: https://chrastecky.dev/ (or federated: !programming@chrastecky.dev, !3d-printing@chrastecky.dev, !gaming@chrastecky.dev).
Stupid term for when people who don’t know how to program ask AI to generate code for them which they have no expertise to actually validate.
Edit: It took 20 minutes, but I finally found the poster child for vibe coding (time well spent):
Well, at least they explained it! /s
I thought it just allowede easier debugging, sorry
Edit: This comment is a gem, too.
GIMP is nowhere close to Photoshop in usability. Don’t know about others.
And thanks to Proton you can now do pretty much everything that you can do on Windows. Unless you do graphics design.
Can I pick the tattoos?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone say an article would be better as a video. Not saying it doesn’t happen, of course, just saying that it’s significantly more likely people will ask for the opposite, which I’ve seen quite a bit, especially in the last few years because everything has to be a video now for reasons.
How about people just write down the 7 things? Like, how long does reading 7 bullet points with a paragraph or two for details take? Definitely not 14 and a half minute like the video.
I read a Stack Overflow discussion about it a few years ago and if I remember correctly, they found some obscure one which was free but not open source.
Though I don’t remember which one it was.
Both free software and open source are strictly defined terms. Most F/OSS licenses are applicable to both, but there are licenses that are only open source, but but free software and vice-versa.
It’s a cluster of workers where everyone can generate images/text using workers connected to the service.
So if you ran a worker, people could generate stuff using your PC. For that you would gain kudos, which in turn you can use to generate stuff on other people’s computers.
Basically you do two things: help common people without access to powerful machines and use your capacity when you have time to use the kudos whenever you want, even on the road where you can’t turn on your PC if you fancy so.
You sure? Sounds like a nice tickle.
Use addy.io and support an open source dev!
For that rhyme you deserve a nickel!
Try running an AI Horde worker, it’s a really great service!
What the hell is the fella smoking if he thinks Apple would ever let others use their on-device LLM? Like, the company that deems it too dangerous if apps could change a wallpaper?
Perhaps I worded it poorly, but my point was that companies shouldn’t go bankrupt when they make a mistake.
If you keep doing it after you’ve been told, then you’re no longer just making a mistake it’s obviously malicious, but I don’t think then Apple should go bankrupt when they incorrectly implement a new law.
While I personally don’t think it’s accidental, you should be more lenient towards a first offense for any new law (unless you can prove it was intentional, which is incredibly hard).
