Feel like they’ve said swipe is coming forever. I like the project but have went to heliboard for swiping.

I use it and like it but at this point I just assume theyre working on a full rewrite in a language other than PHP. Go, Rust, whatever. Wouldn’t be easy as they need to rewrite a number of applications for it too but quite frankly seems like the next logical step.
I think what’s most telling is- if you use it then what do you care about putting “made with ai” on a flair? Are you ashamed?
And produced with a shit ton of copyright violations, etc. Just about everything is immoral about it.
I’m curious why you’d choose this over kodi or something like bazzite. What specifically are the advantages?
What’s awful is- I can find this news in other places using RSS. Not nearly as quick but… Who cares? Like wtf difference does it make?
Stumbled across this the other day. Very interesting and a ton of gestures. Debating using it more. It is very lightweight and no frills appearance wise.
Like I’ve said before- their market is small enough they should be trying to get everyone they can to buy it.
I never have to charge my wired headphones.
Nor do I have to buy new batteries or new headphones when they die.
The sound quality on them blows no matter which you get.
Forgot- you gotta add their repo.
Fair. There is Molly on fdroid if you like.
Imagine being this vitriolic in response to someone’s personal anecdote.
The person you responded to said they did find a sense of community like the study describes. Nowhere in there did they argue that anyone should be forced to go back to an office nor even that an office spot be made available to people.
For traveling I find it much easier to just buy an esim
I really want to give furios phone a shot. It’s apparently close to supporting my carrier.
That and a sailfish phone. The community one though didn’t support my carrier (think it’s mainly EU specced only.)
What I find missing most of the time though is any esim support. Makes me wonder if the hardware one that you can program an esim on works.
I’ll be honest, Im not sure why theyre not releasing this as 11.x.
This seems to be a major update. From what I can tell there are API changes, plugins might not work, your entire db is converted to another format, etc.
I’m excited for it and thankful for all the work- just seems so big that it should be tagged 11.0.0
CalyxOS would be the closest thing to graphene you could install.
Well apparently their “approach” is to run sandboxed Google play. Now whether that is better than microg with its more anonymous nature but higher permission level, idk.
But that locks you into Google play and using an account of some sort rather than just using Aurora. From what I remember anyhow, especially when trying to use seedvault since graphene has no backup solution of its own even years after saying seedvault isn’t great.
Even ignoring that I tried graphene but even as a tech person it was off putting. Calyx in contrast has a nice blend of usability and security imo.
I wanted to like graphene and it’s far superior in security but just so much less usable IMO. I’d rather move to a Linux phone at that point.
It’s a good app. Sadly the price of entry puts people off.
